01

Who we are and what this is.

The short version: Caijo is a real product made by a real company. By using it, you are agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Simple as that.

Caijo is a product of Caijo Inc., registered and operating at Fairview Residency, 172 Marasi Drive, Office Suite 906, 9th Floor, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE.

These Terms of Service govern your use of caijo.com and app.caijo.com. By creating an account or using Caijo in any way, you confirm that you have read these terms, understood them, and agreed to be bound by them. If you are using Caijo on behalf of a company or agency, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.

If something is unclear, email us at help@caijo.com before you sign up, not after. We would rather spend five minutes clarifying something upfront than have anyone feel surprised later.

02

Your account and your responsibilities.

To use Caijo, you need to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We will never ask for your password via email or chat. If someone does ask for it claiming to be Caijo, they are not Caijo.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you share access with a team member and they do something that violates these terms, that is still your account. Please share access thoughtfully.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Caijo is a professional tool for businesses and the people who work on them, not a service designed for minors.

One account per person. If you are an agency and need multiple seats or team access, the Agency plan is the right fit. Creating multiple free accounts to get around scan limits is not allowed and will result in those accounts being closed.

03

What you can do with Caijo.

Quite a lot, actually. Here is the spirit of what Caijo is built for:

  • Scan domains for AEO readiness. Your own domains, your clients' domains, competitors' publicly accessible websites. If it is publicly reachable on the internet, it is fair game for a scan.
  • Use your results to improve your brand's visibility. That is the whole point. Take the score, read the fixes, improve the site, rescan. Repeat until you are happy with the number.
  • Generate reports and share them. Agency users can export white-label PDFs. Anyone can share their results with their team. Caijo reports are yours to use however you see fit.
  • Run scans for your clients as part of a paid service. If you are an agency billing clients for AEO work, using Caijo as part of that service is completely fine. That is what the Agency plan is designed for.

04

What you cannot do with Caijo.

A short but important list.

  • Resell access to the platform itself. You can use Caijo in your service delivery. You cannot white-label the Caijo app as your own product and sell subscriptions to it. That is a different conversation. Email us if that is what you are interested in.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or scrape the scoring engine. The methodology, algorithms, and scoring logic are proprietary. You cannot attempt to extract, reproduce, or replicate them.
  • Use Caijo in any way that violates applicable law. This includes but is not limited to privacy laws, computer misuse laws, and any relevant regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • Attempt to circumvent scan limits through technical means. Creating multiple accounts, using automated scripts to exploit the free tier, or accessing the API in unauthorised ways is not allowed.
  • Scan websites you do not have permission to scan. Scanning a publicly accessible website is generally fine. Using Caijo to probe websites for vulnerabilities, gather data for malicious purposes, or scan in a way that causes disruption is not.

If you are ever unsure whether a specific use case is permitted, just ask. We are much more useful as a conversation than as a terms document.

05

Plans, billing and the launch offer.

Caijo has three plans.

Free gives you 3 scans per month, the full score out of 100, and a category breakdown. No credit card required. The free plan does not expire.

PRO+ is $39 per month or $349 per year. It includes 20 scans per month, the full score narrative in plain English, complete fix instructions for every failed check, competitor comparison up to 3 domains, up to 25 saved reports, and up to 5 projects.

Agency is $99 per month or $899 per year. It includes everything in PRO+ and adds 100 scans per month, competitor comparison up to 9 domains, unlimited saved reports, unlimited projects, white-label PDF exports, scheduled Cornerstone Page rescans, and priority support.

The Launch Offer. The first 100 PRO+ signups can lock in at $29 per month for the life of their account. Full terms for the launch offer are at /legal/offers/launch. The short version: sign up before the 100 spots are gone, keep your subscription active, and the $29 rate is yours forever. Cancel and the lock-in is gone.

Agency launch lock-in. PRO+ subscribers who upgrade to Agency within 30 days of their original PRO+ signup can lock in at $79 per month for the life of their account. Standard Agency pricing ($99/month) applies after the 30-day window.

Billing is handled securely by Stripe. Caijo does not store your payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds on monthly subscriptions but will consider reasonable requests made within 48 hours of a renewal charge. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days.

06

Your data and your scans.

Your account data, your saved reports, and the domains you have scanned are yours. We do not sell them, share them with third parties, or use them to benefit anyone other than you.

We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve Caijo's scoring engine. For example: "across all scans this month, 78% of sites were missing FAQ schema" is the kind of insight that helps us improve the product. Your specific results, your specific domains, and anything identifiable to you are never used in this way without your explicit consent.

If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 90 days in line with our Privacy Policy. Scan results and reports tied to your account are deleted with it.

07

Our service and how we try to keep it running.

We aim for Caijo to be available whenever you need it. In practice, no web service achieves 100% uptime, and we would be lying if we promised otherwise. We will do our best to maintain the service, communicate planned maintenance in advance, and fix problems quickly when they arise.

Caijo scans publicly accessible websites using CaijoBot, our web crawler. The accuracy of any scan depends on the content actually present on those pages at the time of the crawl. We cannot guarantee perfect accuracy in every classification made by the scoring engine. If you believe a scan result is incorrect, contact us and we will investigate.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the service with reasonable notice. We will try very hard not to remove something you rely on without giving you adequate warning and a migration path.

08

Intellectual property and who owns what.

Caijo and all of its software, scoring methodology, algorithms, branding, and content are the property of Caijo Inc. The Caijo name, logo, and product are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Your data, your scan results, and any content you produce using Caijo are yours. We claim no ownership over your reports, your client outputs, or any work you create with the tool.

If you write about Caijo, review it publicly, or reference it in a case study, you are welcome to use the Caijo name and brand marks in a factual, editorial context. If you want to use Caijo branding in advertising or promotional material, please ask first. Usually the answer is yes, but we like to know.

09

Liability and what we are responsible for.

Caijo is provided as a diagnostic and informational tool. We work hard to make sure the scoring engine is accurate, but the output of any scan is information for your consideration, not a guarantee of any particular outcome in AI search results.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Caijo Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you in any given month does not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in that month.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything that cannot legally be excluded. We are not trying to be evasive about liability. We are trying to be honest about the fact that a diagnostic tool cannot guarantee outcomes.

10

Termination and what happens to your account.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation of a paid subscription does not automatically delete your account. You can continue to use the free tier after cancelling a paid plan, and your scan history for the remaining period is retained until you actively delete your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or are found to be fraudulent. We will notify you first unless the situation involves fraud or serious harm. We will not terminate accounts arbitrarily, and if you believe a termination was made in error, you can appeal to help@caijo.com.

11

Changes to these terms.

We will update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.

Continuing to use Caijo after updated terms are in effect constitutes acceptance of those terms. If you disagree with a change, you can cancel your account before it takes effect.

We will never retroactively change the terms in a way that harms existing paying subscribers without reasonable notice and an opportunity to exit without penalty.

12

How to reach us about any of this.
