It's free because we want you to scan your site, see your score, and understand what AEO means for your brand before you decide to invest. There's no catch and no countdown timer.

What Free doesn't include is the full fix instructions, CiteReady, competitor comparison, and the deeper scan options. If you find Caijo useful and want those things, upgrading to PRO+ is the obvious next step. But there's no pressure and no artificial restriction on how long you can use Free.

The first 100 subscribers to PRO+ pay $29 per month instead of the standard $39. That price is locked in for as long as they remain subscribers. It doesn't increase when the standard price does. It doesn't expire after a year. It's their price, for as long as they stay subscribed.

The first 100 subscribers to AGENCY pay $149.99 per month instead of the standard $249.99. Same deal. Locked in for the lifetime of the subscription. The saving on AGENCY is $100 per month, which over a year is $1,200. For an agency billing AEO services to clients, that's a meaningful number.

The only condition is continuous subscription. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, the lock-in doesn't carry over and you'd pay the standard rate at that time. The full terms are here and they're written in plain English.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees, no awkward calls to a retention team, and no tricks. Billing is handled by Stripe and we don't store your payment card details ourselves.

If you cancel an early bird subscription and decide to re-subscribe later, the locked rate no longer applies and you'd pay the standard rate at that time. That's the only thing worth knowing before cancelling if you're on an early bird plan.

No. You can scan any domain on any plan, including client domains. The difference is scale and workflow. PRO+ gives you 20 scans per month, up to 50 pages per Extensive scan, 5 projects, and up to 25 saved reports. For a consultant working on one or two active clients at a time, PRO+ is perfectly workable.

AGENCY becomes the right choice when you have more active clients than PRO+'s limits can comfortably handle, when your clients expect professional branded deliverables (white-label PDF exports), when you want automatic rescans to manage ongoing monitoring without manual work, or when your competitive audit needs go beyond 3 domains per scan. If you're billing AEO as a client service, the AGENCY early bird rate at $149.99/month is priced to make sense.

CiteReady is powered by the Claude API, which has a real per-use cost. Every CiteReady run sends your page's content to Claude, requests a Citation Gap analysis, and generates personalised 115-180 word passages for each gap identified. That's a meaningful amount of processing per page, per scan. We're passing on the actual cost of running it rather than hiding it in an inflated base price.

The honest framing is this: a single CiteReady passage that earns one AI citation on a page that gets meaningful search traffic is worth considerably more than the cost of generating it. The passages are personalised to your specific page, your brand voice, and your specific citation gaps. That's not something you can replicate with a generic Claude prompt in five minutes. The price reflects the value, and the value reflects what we're actually spending to produce it.

Your scan data, score history, and saved reports are retained in your account for 90 days after cancellation. After 90 days, inactive account data is removed from our systems in line with our Privacy Policy. If you downgrade from a paid plan to Free, you'll lose access to the paid features but your existing data remains accessible on the Free plan up to its limits.

If you're on AGENCY and downgrade to PRO+, your unlimited projects and reports will be read-only above the PRO+ limits until you either upgrade again or manually remove the excess to stay within PRO+ limits. We'll always give you fair warning before any data is affected.

We don't have a formal non-profit or startup programme in place at launch, but we're open to conversations about it. If you're an early-stage founder, a non-profit organisation, or an academic researcher working on AEO-related topics and the pricing is a genuine barrier, get in touch and explain your situation. We'll consider it on its merits. We're a small team building something new and we'd rather have you using Caijo than not.
